In this lecture, we first shared the current industry pattern and characteristics from the macro level, as well as the crucial role of logistics in the development of national economy, and set up a low-level framework for students to understand the logistics industry.
Many major business model innovations are closely related to the continuous cost reduction of logistics and the subsequent rise of industrial Internet. The constant pursuit of supply chain efficiency will continue to drive innovation across industries as industry and consumption patterns change.
Similarly, continuous optimization of efficiency is also the core goal of logistics operation management, and the quality of operation management ability is not only related to efficiency, but also brings about the extreme differentiation of the industry and the change of the competition pattern. Analysis of operations management mainly solves two problems in logistics, one is to absorb huge costs, the other is to make highly complex network efficient. The digitization of operations management is a powerful means to absorb costs and improve efficiency.
Years of practical experience has proved that the key to digital operation is to take customer needs as the starting point, combine digitalization with operation scenarios, and combine technology with operation teams.
